Location: Union Square, Wall Street & Broad Street, NYC

UPDATE: LIVE Photos of Pillow Fight uploaded!
Update: Due to construction in Union Square, the Green Market will be moved to the South Plaza where the pillow fight was scheduled to occur. Inform others!
Directions: 2,3,4,5 to Wall St. station; J,M,Z to Broad St. station; R,W to Rector St. station
Twitter friends: Please tweet your Live photos to @islandwoo and I will compile them here! Please RT!

2009 Rules (and Islandwoo comments)
1. Soft pillows only! (I completely agree. This is a friendly event)
2. Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once. (WATCH THOSE ELBOWS)
3. Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras. (People without pillows and watching attentively around the edges of the fight are probably wishing they had a pillow. Give them a gentle tap and a smile and make them feel like they participated. I would even lend your pillow to someone with a camera and offer to take a picture of them participating!)
4. Remove glasses beforehand! (Probably a good idea)
5. Wait until the signal to begin. (Pre-mature swinging is frowned upon)
6. Do not abandon your pillow at the location (take it with you and be the topic of conversation the entire day)

Is anyone else looking forward to this being on Wall freaking street this year? It's only fun if it's held at a place like Union Sq where tons of people just happen to be there. Who's gonna just happen to be on Wall Street?!?

This could possibly be the biggest pillow fight ever: 11,000 confirmed on Facebook. I hear we need to clean up the mess this year?
