June 16 – The New York City Hare Krishna Parade this year showcased three huge floats that were led down 5th Avenue from 60th Street to Washington Square Park – a three mile route. Because the parade was only 3 floats deep, traffic was not blocked and cars and buses drove alongside the floats, which were pulled by volunteers from the crowd! What a spectacle for everyone shopping on 5th Avenue, and a very unique surprise for the tourists on the Big Apple Tour bus!
