7/4/2008 - Joey Chestnut of San Jose defended his 2007 title and wins the 2008 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, NY over 6 time winner Takeru Kobayashi of Japan. The winners came out after the competition ended with their trophies to pose for pictures and perhaps heading to lunch!
