The much anticipated LightSaber Battle was over in 30 minutes after it started as the police broke up the seemingly violent crowd. The “massive blacklight cannons” failed to provide the effect that defined this event. Several smaller black lights however were used and kept pockets of the crowd pleased. If you arrived 20 minutes late, you would have thought it was just a group of drunk college students hitting each other with cardboard in the dark. Despite the disappointments, it was a great event as captured by the photos and video below, and a great way to spend a warm Saturday evening outdoors with friends.
