Details: Three popular sledding spots in NYC are: 1) Pillgrim Hill in Central Park (E. 72nd St. entrance). 2) Hippo Playground in Riverside Park (W. 91st St entrance). 3) Nethermeads or 9th Street entrance of Prospect Park.

Details: "The Rink" at Rockefeller Center is open the latest (until April 18, 2010) but is also the most expensive. "The Pond" at Bryant Park is FREE (open Nov. 6 2009 to Jan. 24, 2010). Wallman Rink in Central Park is the most picturesque (open October to April 5, 2010)
