Details: The annual Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating contest is regarded as the world's most famous hot dog eating contest and a colorful tradition of Independence Day. Six-time champion Takeru "Tsunami" Kobayashi is expected to miss the 2010 competition leaving the three-time defending champion Joey Chestnut as the favorite. Chestnut set a new record of 68 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes in 2009.

Details: Luna Park was an amusement park at Coney Island, Brooklyn from 1903 to 1944. The new Luna Park opened May 29, 2010 on the ground of the former Astroland amusement park which closed after the 2008 season. Unlimited ride passes vary from $26-$34.
